CLIP SCOUT
Searches Twitch clips, presents highlights and quality scores, and lets the operator mark interesting clips for further use.
Independent desktop application
ASTER APPS provides desktop tools for discovering gaming and live-stream clips, selecting highlights, preparing vertical videos, and managing publishing workflows across connected accounts.
Publishing depends on user authorization, content rights, and each platform's API access and rules.
What ASTER APPS does
A local-first workspace connecting clip discovery with video preparation and publishing management.
Searches Twitch clips, presents highlights and quality scores, and lets the operator mark interesting clips for further use.
Collects qualifying clips, prepares a vertical video format, and stores editable descriptions and per-platform publishing status.
Uses platform authorization and supported APIs where available, with optional scheduling and separate status tracking per destination.
How publishing works
Choose a clip and ensure the content is authorized for redistribution.
Generate a 9:16 video, edit its description, and review its contents.
Connect a supported social account and submit content under that platform's applicable API permissions and policies.
Transparency
The public website is informational. It does not ask visitors to enter social passwords or upload access tokens. Account connection happens inside the local ASTER APPS application through supported authorization methods or user-provided tokens.
The VIDEO module prepares media locally on the device where ASTER APPS is installed. Files may be sent to external platforms when the operator initiates a publishing action.
The operator must have the necessary permissions for each clip and must comply with the destination platform's rules. Discovering a public clip does not confer redistribution rights.
Connected accounts can be removed from the VIDEO module's account settings. Revoking access on the social platform is also recommended.
Use the contact page for privacy, content attribution, or takedown concerns. We review notices and can direct the operator to remove locally managed content.
